Polarion is available in two deployment models designed to adapt to each organization's infrastructure, security, and budget policies.

Polarion ALM (on-premise)

Installation on the customer's private infrastructure. Maximum control over data, integrations, and customizations. Recommended for organizations with strict data residency requirements, air-gapped environments, or existing investments in internal infrastructure.

Polarion X (SaaS cloud)

Deployment managed by Siemens on AWS (also available on Microsoft Azure since 2025). Automatic updates, elastic scalability, and reduced upfront cost. Ideal for teams that want to get started quickly, avoid infrastructure management, and continuously benefit from the latest features.
