Valor Parts Library (VPL) the component library for printed circuit boards.
This solution provides physically accurate models of electronic components, used as Digital Twin for the Design for Manufacturing (DFM)of PCB and assembly, inspection and testing applications.
Valor Parts Library (VPL)
Valor Parts Library contains more than a billion manufacturer-specific part numbers, including sized package templates for each component. All information about the physical package is taken from the component manufacturer's data sheet. In addition, customers can choose to create their own VPL content with the tools available for component creation
Why choose Valor Parts Library for PCB components?
VPL enhances existing PCB design library with solid data, suitable for DFM
Even the highest quality PCB design libraries contain only a fraction of the data available in the VPL. The VPL library consists of more than a billion part numbers from electronic component manufacturers. The VPL library contains accurate component geometries, named packages, and part attributes such as height, pitch, length, and width. Package names conform to JEDEC JES-D 30I standards.

Valor Parts Library (VPL) enhances DFM (Design for Manufacturability) for superior PCB design
Learn how using VPL avoids rework in production caused by component placement and soldering problems.
DFM at the assembly level
The use of DFM checks at the assembly level enables the identification of potential manufacturability issues during circuit board design, before releasing data to production. However, the effectiveness of assembly-level DFM depends entirely on the quality and completeness of the component representation being used. VPL provides a reliable, high-quality representation of component packages for use during DFM analysis at the assembly level, as illustrated below.
