What is the ESM?
Manufacturing Execution System (MES) is a software system that enables real-time management and monitoring of the execution of manufacturing processes in the factory. It sits between planning systems (ERP) and production machines/lines, collecting operational data and translating it into useful information to improve efficiency, quality and traceability. The MES supports functions such as production progress, quality management, material traceability, operator management and resource control.
